Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a PET/CT Technologist, utilizing advanced imaging skills in Nuclear Medicine. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge GE Discovery IQ equipment and be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 4 shifts per week at 10 hours each
Qualifications:
- Active CNMT or ARRT(N) credential
- Additional certification: NMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or ARRT(CT)
- Valid New York State license for Nuclear Medicine and CT
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Previous experience operating the GE Discovery IQ scanner is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently across various clinical settings
Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures in compliance with safety protocols and physicians’ orders
- Accurately prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for patient imaging
- Operate scanning equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists, referring physicians, and healthcare staff for optimal patient care
- Manage patient information and documentation in accordance with privacy regulations
- Rotate between hospital sites as assigned, adapting to diverse clinical teams and workflows
Assignment Details:
- Minimum of 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week
