Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Clayton, NY

Step into an advanced imaging environment as a PET/CT Technologist, working with top-tier equipment such as the GE Discovery IQ. This role is designed for skilled professionals ready to deliver exceptional diagnostic care across multiple sites for a 13-week contract assignment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Minimum of 36 hours worked/paid per week

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State license for Nuclear Medicine and CT
• Certification: CNMT or ARRT(N) AND NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT)
• BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and with PET/CT imaging
• Proficiency using GE Discovery IQ equipment is preferred
• Strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals, radiation safety, and imaging procedures
• Ability to work independently and travel to assignments as scheduled

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging practices
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with protocols
• Operate and maintain GE Discovery IQ equipment efficiently
• Support physicians by delivering precise imaging results for diagnosis and patient management
• Uphold the highest standards in safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism while traveling between clinical sites
