A skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract assignment. This position requires strong experience operating GE Omni equipment and a dual certification in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology modalities.
Schedule:
- 4x10-hour day shifts each week
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience with imaging procedures in Nuclear Medicine and CT/PET technologies
- Proficient with GE Omni and other GE imaging equipment
- Dual certification required:
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) and
- ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
- Active, valid New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
- Proven track record of performing advanced imaging with accuracy and efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and advanced Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT studies according to physician orders and department protocols
- Utilize GE Omni and other GE equipment proficiently to deliver quality imaging
- Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to review imaging results and ensure optimal patient care
- Complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control, radiation safety, and general safety policies
