Job Description
Soliant is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Cooperstown, New York. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialized imaging team working with advanced PET/CT technology in a supportive clinical environment.
The department utilizes a GE Discovery IQ PET/CT system, and candidates with previous GE equipment experience are required. This role is ideal for highly skilled technologists with both nuclear medicine and radiology certifications looking to expand their experience in a high-demand specialty.

Responsibilities:
Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Operate GE Discovery IQ PET/CT equipment safely and effectively
Administer radiopharmaceuticals following department protocols
Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care
Skills:
Strong attention to detail
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Knowledge of PET/CT imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
Qualifications/Education:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related field
License and Certifications:
NMTCB or ARRT (N) Certification required
ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), or NMTCB (CT) Certification required
New York Nuclear Medicine License required
New York Radiology License required
Candidates must hold both nuclear medicine and radiology certifications
Experience:
Previous Nuclear Medicine PET/CT experience required
Experience with GE equipment required
PET/CT experience required
Work Hours
Day shift, 40 hours per week; Tuesday through Friday, 4x10 shifts
