Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) | Davenport, Florida

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Current Florida Radiologic Technologist License required
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and active BLS certification required
• Minimum of one year of experience working in an acute care setting
• Proficiency in both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging techniques
• Adaptability and readiness to float to meet patient needs across departments
• Strong communication and patient-care skills, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans in accordance with established protocols
• Accurately prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, following safety and regulatory standards
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, providing compassionate care and timely reporting of any issues
• Ensure documentation and patient records are completed precisely
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists to deliver seamless patient care
• Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and compliance in all imaging areas
