Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Decatur, GA

This contract opportunity calls for an experienced nuclear medicine technologist prepared to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment with advanced equipment and comprehensive systems.

Schedule

• Day shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 06:00 to 17:30
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating weekday and weekend call: one week per month, weekdays (end of shift–23:00), weekends (07:00–23:00)
• Maximum of 7 consecutive days off permitted
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Expectation to work major holidays as designated by assignment period

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology (no first-time travelers)
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R, NMTCB
• Proficiency in Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR & CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C survey meter, and Bicron 2000 survey meter
• Experience navigating Epic, PACS, Philips Skylight, and Siemens Symbia Evo
• Ability to wear dark grey scrubs as required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and procedures according to established protocols
• Operate a range of imaging and dose calibration equipment safely and efficiently
• Document accurately in Epic and support image management via PACS systems
• Provide thorough patient care and maintain compliance with all facility requirements
• Participate in call rotations and support the department across multiple shifts if needed
