Required Skills & Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment, performing imaging procedures, and quality assurance protocols
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety procedures and patient care standards
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
- Monitor and document patient history, condition, and test results
- Maintain imaging equipment through regular checks and scheduled maintenance
