Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine)
- Proven experience working in nuclear medicine imaging in a clinical or hospital setting
- In-depth knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation, administration, and safety protocols
- Ability to accurately perform diagnostic procedures, including PET, SPECT, and cardiac imaging
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to radiation safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and team collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a range of nuclear medicine examinations, following precise imaging protocols
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality
- Record and document exam results accurately, assisting physicians with timely report interpretation
- Educate and support patients throughout their imaging experience, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
- Follow all safety and infection control policies, contributing to a safe environment for patients and staff
