Qualifications:

  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Valid state license as required
  • Experience with nuclear medicine equipment, protocols, and radiation safety
  • Knowledge of current imaging best practices and patient safety standards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • 6.75 days bi-weekly (specific schedule to be confirmed)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and procedural documentation
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety and comfort
  • Strictly adhere to safety practices regarding radioactive materials and equipment operation
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as required
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes
