- Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Required Qualifications:
- NMTCB or ARRT (N) Certification
- New York State (NYS) License
- BLS CPR certification
- Familiarity with General Electric Nuclear Medicine cameras, Biodex Dose calibrator, EPIC, NMIS, and Xeleris
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, order, and safely administer radiopharmaceutical materials to patients
- Operate imaging equipment (e.g., gamma cameras, SPECT and SPECT/CT)
- Ensure proper documentation for all procedures and licensing agencies
- Educate patients on processes and safety
- Maintain adherence to radiation safety protocols for patient and staff protection
- Handle, store, and dispose of radioactive waste according to regulatory requirements
- Perform image data processing, formatting, labeling, and SPECT reconstruction for interpretation
- Transfer images to PACS and document studies within EPIC
- Conduct and document quality control checks on equipment per ACR guidelines
- Initiate and remove IV lines as appropriate; administer radioisotopes
- Uphold hospital safety, confidentiality, infection control, and reporting policies
