An opportunity is available for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist skilled in diagnostic imaging to contribute expertise in a busy healthcare setting. This contract position is ideal for professionals seeking a focused assignment in nuclear medicine, offering the potential for extension beyond the initial six-week term.

Schedule:

  • Anticipated Monday through Friday
  • 5x8’s day shift (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
  • No call requirements

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging; familiarity with general nuclear medicine protocols essential
  • CT competency is a plus, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
  • Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate advanced imaging equipment according to established protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to provide high-quality diagnostic information
  • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of all procedures and patient interactions
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and facility policies for radiation safety and infection control
  • Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address questions or concerns
