Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Evans Mills, NY

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a PET/CT Technologist skilled in imaging, specifically Nuclear Medicine. The assignment requires professionals adept at delivering high-quality diagnostic scans in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
• Additional NMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or ARRT(CT) required
• Valid NYS license for Nuclear Medicine and CT
• BLS for Healthcare certification
• Previous experience with GE Discovery IQ equipment strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-site workflow

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of PET and CT procedures with a focus on image quality and patient safety
• Operate and troubleshoot GE Discovery IQ PET/CT systems
• Ensure all examinations meet department protocols and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and clinical team members
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
• Provide knowledgeable, compassionate care while communicating clearly with patients regarding procedures
• Keep equipment in optimal condition through regular quality assurance checks

This assignment spans a 13-week minimum duration, with work conducted across regional sites and a guaranteed minimum of 36 paid hours weekly. You'll gain exposure to varied cases and contribute to a supportive, highly skilled clinical team.

$4,128 - $4,352/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
