A rewarding opportunity is available for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist skilled in Imaging - Nuclear Medicine for a contract assignment. This position offers the chance to work with a collaborative diagnostic team in a supportive environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • 5x8 hour day shifts
  • No on-call responsibilities

This assignment is set for six weeks with the possibility of an extended duration. The start date is ASAP, providing an excellent option for experienced technologists seeking an immediate role. While PET procedures are not performed, experience or willingness to assist with CT scans is appreciated but not required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT(N) or NMTCB)
  • Valid state licensure, if required
  • Proven clinical experience as a Nuclear Med Tech in a healthcare facility
  • Knowledge and proficiency with standard imaging protocols and safety procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with clinical and technical teams
  • Strong attention to detail and patient care focus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as directed by physicians
  • Monitor equipment and report any technical issues promptly
  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure clear documentation and accurate image capture for quality diagnostic support
  • Provide compassionate care to patients throughout procedures
