Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-N)
  • Completed accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of nuclear medicine studies and preparing radiopharmaceuticals
  • Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and equipment maintenance
  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced hospital or healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders
  • Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Operate imaging equipment and monitor image quality
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document upon completion of procedures
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Adhere to all departmental policies, protocols, and relevant regulatory guidelines
  • Support and educate patients throughout the imaging process
