Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-N)
- Completed accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of nuclear medicine studies and preparing radiopharmaceuticals
- Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and equipment maintenance
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior experience in a fast-paced hospital or healthcare setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders
- Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Operate imaging equipment and monitor image quality
- Maintain accurate patient records and document upon completion of procedures
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Adhere to all departmental policies, protocols, and relevant regulatory guidelines
- Support and educate patients throughout the imaging process
