Deliver advanced patient care in a vital diagnostic role as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within a dynamic imaging department. Utilizing your core expertise in Nuclear Medicine, you will provide essential imaging services that aid in the diagnosis and management of cardiac and general health concerns. This contract position offers collaboration with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure the highest quality patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours

  • Full-time contract assignment (specific shift details shared upon interview)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-N)
  • Current and unrestricted professional state license or eligibility
  • Proven experience in imaging, specifically with nuclear medicine modalities
  • Strong understanding of radiopharmaceutical handling and radiation safety protocols
  • Competence with modern imaging equipment and PACS systems
  • Effective communication skills and an ability to deliver compassionate care to diverse patient populations
  • BLS certification required

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine studies, including preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Operate imaging equipment appropriately to acquire diagnostic images as ordered by the referring provider
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and infection control procedures
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, cardiologists, and patient care teams
  • Educate patients on procedures, addressing concerns and monitoring for adverse reactions
  • Accurately document and maintain patient data and imaging records
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
