Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - Fremont, California

Take an active role in patient diagnosis and care by performing a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures in a supportive, collaborative clinical environment. Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of relevant, progressively responsible experience in nuclear medicine technology
• Associate Degree in diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, or a related field
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (RHN)
• Current registration through one of the following: ARRT(N) or CNMT (NMTCB)
• Demonstrated proficiency in specialized diagnostic procedures, patient positioning, and imaging equipment operation
• Knowledgeable in radiation safety, privacy regulations, and applicable software systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to resolve equipment issues and document accurately

Responsibilities:

• Perform all Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures across a broad patient demographic using a variety of advanced equipment
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to safety and regulatory protocols, assisting with therapeutic doses as needed
• Schedule procedures, prioritize studies, and liaise with clinical teams to deliver optimal patient care
• Assist in the training and guidance of students, residents, and new staff on procedures, equipment, and best safety practices
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, document quality controls, and monitor supplies
• Process image data for review and ensure adherence to established standards (including PACS transfer)
• Accurately complete required paperwork, document incidents, and support ALARA goals
• Engage in ongoing learning to stay current with technology and protocol updates
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized department

$2,935 - $3,094/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
