Take on a rewarding role as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a dynamic imaging department. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional comfortable working independently in nuclear medicine. Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM (four 9-hour days, Friday off)
- No on-call requirements
- 36 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; confident working solo in all nuclear medicine procedures
- Competency in monthly QC, leak testing, and participation in quarterly RSO meetings
- Ability to perform 3–4 nuclear medicine stress tests and 1–2 general nuclear medicine studies per week
- Familiarity with Siemens E Gamma Camera and standard hot lab equipment
- Willingness to cross-train or support CT operations is highly preferred
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification and BLS certification required
Core Responsibilities:
- Independently operate nuclear medicine equipment and complete diagnostic studies with precision
- Perform all required quality control procedures, including monthly QC and leak tests
- Maintain compliance by attending and contributing to RSO meetings
- Ensure strict safety standards for patients and staff within the hot lab and imaging areas
- Collaborate with the imaging team and provide support or coverage as needed, especially in CT
