Take on a rewarding role as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a dynamic imaging department. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional comfortable working independently in nuclear medicine. You’ll become an integral part of a collaborative, low-volume environment where your skills and attention to detail ensure the highest standards in patient care and imaging quality.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM (four 9-hour days, Friday off)
  • No on-call requirements
  • 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; confident working solo in all nuclear medicine procedures
  • Competency in monthly QC, leak testing, and participation in quarterly RSO meetings
  • Ability to perform 3–4 nuclear medicine stress tests and 1–2 general nuclear medicine studies per week
  • Familiarity with Siemens E Gamma Camera and standard hot lab equipment
  • Willingness to cross-train or support CT operations is highly preferred
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification and BLS certification required

Core Responsibilities:

  • Independently operate nuclear medicine equipment and complete diagnostic studies with precision
  • Perform all required quality control procedures, including monthly QC and leak tests
  • Maintain compliance by attending and contributing to RSO meetings
  • Ensure strict safety standards for patients and staff within the hot lab and imaging areas
  • Collaborate with the imaging team and provide support or coverage as needed, especially in CT
