Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Goose Creek, SC

An opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide essential imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating advanced nuclear medicine equipment and delivering excellent patient care in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification/license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT(N)).
• Demonstrated expertise in nuclear medicine imaging, including SPECT and PET scans.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and ability to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to compassionate patient interaction.
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring image accuracy and diagnostic quality.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Accurately document procedures, maintain equipment, and support imaging department workflow.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver prompt and reliable results.
• Follow all required protocols related to infection control, radiation safety, and patient confidentiality.
