Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or equivalent)
• Registered or certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Proficient in using nuclear imaging equipment and administering radiopharmaceuticals
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols, safety, and radiation protection procedures
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in nuclear medicine imaging preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
• Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for imaging and therapeutic purposes
• Operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and performance
• Monitor patient responses during and after procedures, providing reassurance and information as needed
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines for patient and staff safety
• Document all procedures and patient data accurately in compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging suite and equipment
• Participate in quality assurance and ongoing educational activities
