Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N)
- Active, unrestricted certification or licensure as required by state regulations
- Hands-on experience in the safe handling and administration of radiopharmaceuticals
- Proficient with nuclear medicine imaging equipment (including PET, SPECT, and gamma cameras)
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and radiation protection protocols
- Excellent patient communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while adhering to safety standards
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT, SPECT, and general nuclear imaging
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure imaging quality meets diagnostic needs
- Monitor and assess patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient histories
- Ensure compliance with departmental, state, and federal safety regulations
