Key Qualifications:

  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N)
  • Active, unrestricted certification or licensure as required by state regulations
  • Hands-on experience in the safe handling and administration of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Proficient with nuclear medicine imaging equipment (including PET, SPECT, and gamma cameras)
  • Strong knowledge of safety practices and radiation protection protocols
  • Excellent patient communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while adhering to safety standards
  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT, SPECT, and general nuclear imaging
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure imaging quality meets diagnostic needs
  • Monitor and assess patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient histories
  • Ensure compliance with departmental, state, and federal safety regulations
  • Provide compassionate, effective patient care in a timely and professional manner
