Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - Greenville, South Carolina

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Current NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and utilizing PACS
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety
• Administer radioactive drugs to patients as required, following strict safety protocols
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper documentation within electronic health records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other physicians to provide diagnostic data and assist in procedural planning
• Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment according to regulatory standards
• Monitor supplies and assist in inventory control for the nuclear medicine department
• Uphold privacy, infection control, and radiation safety standards at all times
