Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Current certification by ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
  • Active, valid licensure (if required by state regulations and employers)
  • BLS certification
  • Demonstrated experience in performing a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures
  • Proven ability to operate specialized nuclear medicine equipment and software
  • Commitment to safety protocols for radiation protection

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures in compliance with physician orders and protocols
  • Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals while strictly adhering to safety standards
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
  • Maintain complete, accurate patient records and document all administered treatments
  • Ensure a safe and comforting environment for patients throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists to optimize patient care and workflow
  • Maintain all necessary supplies and ensure equipment is up to date and functioning properly
  • Participate in quality control and continuing education as needed
