Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Haines City, FL

Step into a rewarding opportunity delivering advanced diagnostic care as a Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment supporting imaging services and requires flexibility, skill, and a commitment to patient-centered technology.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10’s)

Qualifications:

• Active Florida state license required
• Certification in ARRT(N) or NMTCB, along with BLS required
• At least one year of experience in an acute care setting
• Proficient in both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures
• Ability and willingness to float to various units as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT studies, capturing high-quality images for physician interpretation
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with facility policies
• Educate patients about procedures, addressing any concerns to ensure comfort and understanding
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting as needed
• Adhere to best practices for infection prevention, radiation safety, and patient confidentiality
