An exciting opportunity is available for professionals skilled in Nuclear Medicine and Imaging as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract assignment spans 13 weeks and is ideal for candidates eager to contribute their expertise in a dynamic clinical setting.

Schedule:

  • Days, 5 shifts per week (8 hours per shift)

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in ARRT N or ARRT R is required
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Demonstrated experience with nuclear medicine technology practices
  • Strong proficiency with imaging equipment and safety standards
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce high quality diagnostic images as prescribed
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols
  • Evaluate imaging results and collaborate with radiologists and medical teams to ensure accuracy and patient safety
  • Maintain patient records and documentation following regulatory and organizational guidelines
  • Monitor patient well-being during procedures, providing clear instructions and support throughout
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures regarding radioactive materials
