Play a pivotal role in a high-volume PETCT imaging environment, supporting advanced patient care and diagnosis on a 13-week contract. This opportunity is suited for professionals with proven Nuclear Medicine experience, specifically in PETCT, who thrive in a dynamic department and are ready to make an immediate impact. The start date is June 2nd, but an earlier start can be explored for the right candidate.

Schedule:

  • Day shift, Monday through Friday
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • No on-call or holiday shifts
  • Weekends required as part of rotation

Desired Qualifications:

  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification: CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(NM) required
  • Extensive PETCT and Nuclear Medicine experience in busy settings
  • IV insertion and hot lab proficiency
  • Experience administering IV/oral contrast
  • Skilled with MEDRAD FDG Injector
  • Strong attention to safe imaging practices and quality standards

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality PETCT scans—up to 23 per day on a single scanner
  • Execute a range of scans, including but not limited to: Skull base to midthigh with/without contrast, infection workups, PSMA, NET, Cerianna, Brain, Amyvid, Sarcoidosis, and Myocardial Perfusion PETCT
  • Initiate IVs, manage oral and injectable contrast, and support hot lab operations
  • Ensure imaging protocols and patient safety measures are rigorously followed
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients to optimize workflow
