Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT(N), NMTCB, or equivalent)
  • Experience in a hospital or acute care imaging setting
  • Proficient in performing routine and specialty nuclear medicine procedures
  • Strong knowledge of imaging techniques, radiopharmaceutical handling, and safety protocols
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
  • Flexibility for travel assignments and adaptability to new clinical settings

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals for patient imaging
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to perform imaging studies according to physician orders
  • Ensure radiation safety and regulatory compliance at all times
  • Analyze and interpret images; provide accurate diagnostics to support patient care
  • Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure high-quality care
