Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Hartford, CT

Take your imaging expertise to a dynamic environment specializing in Nuclear Medicine. This contract opportunity calls for proficient Nuclear Medicine Technologists skilled in delivering high-quality scans and radiopharmaceutical care.

Key Schedule Details:

• Contract role
• Day shifts available: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm or 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Weekday call rotation: One day per week, 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm
• Weekend call: One weekend every four weeks, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Active certification; NMTCB or ARRT(N) required
• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures
• Strong understanding of radiation safety, quality control, and patient positioning protocols
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Commitment to exceptional patient care, communication, and accurate clinical documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging studies and therapeutic procedures
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with protocols and safety standards
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain imaging equipment and cameras
• Practice strict radiation safety measures for patient and staff well-being
• Document imaging procedures, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with physicians for optimal diagnoses
• Participate in the call rotation as scheduled to support continuous care delivery
