Take your imaging expertise to a dynamic environment specializing in Nuclear Medicine. This contract opportunity calls for proficient Nuclear Medicine Technologists skilled in delivering high-quality scans and radiopharmaceutical care.
Key Schedule Details:
- Contract role
- Day shifts available: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm or 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Weekday call rotation: One day per week, 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm
- Weekend call: One weekend every four weeks, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
Qualifications:
- Active certification; NMTCB or ARRT(N) required
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures
- Strong understanding of radiation safety, quality control, and patient positioning protocols
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Commitment to exceptional patient care, communication, and accurate clinical documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging studies and therapeutic procedures
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with protocols and safety standards
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain imaging equipment and cameras
- Practice strict radiation safety measures for patient and staff well-being
- Document imaging procedures, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with physicians for optimal diagnoses
- Participate in the call rotation as scheduled to support continuous care delivery
