Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-NM or NMTCB)
• Recent experience in a clinical imaging/nuclear medicine setting
• Thorough knowledge of nuclear medicine protocols, safety, and quality control
• Competency with imaging equipment and radioactive materials
• Ability to perform both routine and emergency imaging procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, following precise protocols
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Explain procedures, ensuring patient comfort and addressing concerns
• Monitor patients during imaging for safety and accurate outcomes
• Adhere to all safety regulations regarding radiation exposure and waste handling
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and relay imaging findings
• Maintain accurate records, QA logs, and patient charts in accordance with policy
• Assist with supply inventory and routine equipment maintenance as needed
