Schedule/Hours:
- Days, 5x8 hour shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT N)
- Acceptable alternative certifications: ARRT N or ARRT R
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging
- Strong understanding of imaging practices, safety protocols, and patient care standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures as ordered by medical providers
- Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately, adhering to established protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging processes
- Accurately document procedures, maintain records, and support compliance with facility standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and fellow technologists to facilitate quality patient care
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as necessary
- Strictly follow safety and infection control procedures
