Expand your expertise in nuclear medicine by supporting a high-volume PET/CT department serving a diverse patient population. This contract assignment offers hands-on experience in a setting that regularly handles up to 23 scans per day with a single scanner—ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Schedule:

  • Day shift hours, 5 days per week
  • No on-call expectations or holiday shifts
  • Typical workweek of 40 hours

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified as CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(NM)
  • Advanced knowledge in nuclear medicine—particularly PET/CT procedures
  • Proven ability to manage a busy imaging schedule
  • IV start proficiency and experience with both IV and oral contrast administration
  • Competence working with MEDRAD FDG injectors and hot lab operations
  • Familiarity with a diverse range of PET/CT scans, including:
    • PET/CT skull base to midthigh, both with and without contrast
    • Whole body and limited infection PET/CT
    • Specialized scans: PSMA, NET, Cerianna, Amyvid, Sarcoidosis, Myocardial Perfusion

Role Overview:

  • Perform daily PET/CT imaging exams, maintaining a high standard of patient safety and accuracy
  • Efficiently operate scanning equipment while adapting to a busy department
  • Provide skilled administration of IV/oral contrast, and manage injection protocols
  • Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to ensure seamless workflow
