Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position (duration to be discussed during interview)
Qualifications:
- Active ARRT or NMTCB certification required
- BLS certification mandatory
- Licensed or pending licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Illinois (IL state radiology license)
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on nuclear medicine experience
- Level 1 Trauma experience highly valued
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently in fast-paced hospital environments
- Outstanding attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures with precision, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients
- Operate complex imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to nuclear medicine imaging
- Accurately document patient information, imaging data, and procedure records
- Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control guidelines
- Deliver compassionate care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times
- Collaborate efficiently with fellow technologists, medical staff, and support teams for optimal patient outcomes
