Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) registration required
• Demonstrated experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures within a clinical environment
• In-depth knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and equipment operation
• Proficiency in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• BLS certification (current)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise clinical procedures

Schedule:

• Full-time contract schedule; specific shifts may vary based on department needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures including SPECT, PET, and general gamma camera studies in accordance with physician orders
• Prepare, calculate, and administer radioactive materials for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide clear pre- and post-procedure instructions
• Ensure compliance with all radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Perform quality control and assist with equipment maintenance and calibration
• Accurately document procedure details and maintain comprehensive patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to support seamless departmental workflow
