This position calls for a professional with strong expertise in nuclear medicine, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure each patient receives exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Operate and maintain PET/CT and SPECT scanners, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, explanation of procedures, and safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Document and track imaging procedures, maintaining clear and comprehensive records.
  • Prioritize patient safety and radiation protection throughout each procedure.
  • Work as a part of an interdisciplinary team, communicating findings and assisting with ongoing patient care as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification and registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N required).
  • Proven work experience in nuclear medicine imaging within a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Strong technical skills operating advanced imaging equipment and radiopharmaceutical administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and patient communication skills.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to follow infection control and radiation safety standards.

$3,096 - $3,264/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
