An opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician to support nuclear stress testing and general nuclear medicine services. This contract role involves split hours between a Cardiology outpatient office in Portsmouth, NH, and a main campus in York, ME.

Location: The position is based in Kennebunk, Maine, with work performed at two nearby sites—enhancing variety and experience between outpatient cardiac testing and general nuclear medicine studies. Kennebunk offers a charming community atmosphere with access to coastal recreation and excellent quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various general nuclear medicine procedures as well as cardiac nuclear stress tests
  • Administer IV insertions safely and competently
  • Handle and store radioactive materials in compliance with state and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine Accreditation and State of Maine radioactive materials license
  • Document detailed patient and procedure records accurately
  • Communicate effectively with cardiologists and radiologists to ensure quality exam outcomes
  • Deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on safety and comfort

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience preferred
  • Current CNMT licensure required
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedural guidelines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with medical teams and patients

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
