Make a difference in patient care as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, utilizing your specialized imaging skills in a dynamic contract position. This role offers consistent daytime hours and limited on-call responsibilities, ideal for professionals looking for a structured yet engaging work environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • On-call coverage required Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00pm
  • Weekend rotation not required
  • Holiday coverage only if a holiday falls on your scheduled shift

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N) required
  • Active state licensure in Nuclear Medicine (as applicable)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Prior experience with nuclear imaging equipment and radiopharmaceutical handling
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and patient confidentiality
  • Solid communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to meet call back requirements as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures with precision and care
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals using safe practice standards
  • Acquire and analyze patient images, ensuring high diagnostic quality
  • Document procedures, patient data, and output in electronic health records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain equipment and keep detailed calibration records
  • Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after imaging
