Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - Lake Wales, Florida

This 13-week contract position calls for a skilled Nuclear Med/PET CT Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is ready to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key start dates are available: September 21 or October 1. Flexibility to float as needed throughout the facility is essential.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Florida State License in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification
• Active BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to float within departments as operational needs demand

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT diagnostic imaging studies in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
• Ensure proper patient identification, education, and comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment with a focus on patient safety and accuracy
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize workflow and deliver excellent patient care
• Practice continuous quality improvement and adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines

$2,838 - $2,992/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
