As a Nuclear Medicine professional in this innovative department, you’ll expand your expertise by working alongside talented healthcare teams, adapting to different leadership approaches, and learning a variety of workplace practices. The case mix is diverse, including cardiac studies, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying, with a typical daily volume of 5-10 scans. Exposure to advanced equipment such as GE systems and experience with Radnet & Merge Unity PACS further enhances your skill set. Floating between sites broadens your perspective and adds valuable depth to your resume.

Schedule/Hours

  • 8-hour day shifts
  • Rotating weekday and weekend call after 4:30 PM
  • Holiday on-call rotation
  • No block scheduling
  • Teal scrubs required

Qualifications

  • CA NMTL license and BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine
  • Proficient in cardiac, SPECT, bone, bleed, and gastric emptying studies
  • Comfortable using GE equipment and Radnet/Merge Unity PACS
  • Ability to float within 6.5 miles to a partner facility if needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies with precision and compassion
  • Collaborate effectively with a lead tech, in-house radiologist, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adhere to department protocols and maintain high standards in patient care
  • Participate in rotating on-call and holiday schedules
