Professionals with expertise in nuclear medicine imaging have the opportunity to make an impact working with adolescent through geriatric patient populations in a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract assignment requires a strong background in the field, high adaptability, and excellent technical skills.

Schedule:

  • 4x10-hour day shifts (06:00 - 17:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Participation in call rotation: one week per month; weekdays after shift until 23:00, weekends 07:00-23:00
  • Floating may be required within the facility and within scope of practice
  • Holiday responsibilities are assigned based on assignment period

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant nuclear medicine experience (no first-time travelers accepted)
  • Valid certifications in BLS and either ARRT-R or NMTCB
  • Experience with adolescent through geriatric populations
  • Proficiency using:
    • Xceleris processing system
    • Fuji Synapse 5 PACS
    • AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter
    • Capintec CRC-55tR and CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators
    • LudLum Model 14C and Bicron 2000 survey meters
  • Familiarity with Epic for documentation
  • Experience with PACS, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo systems
  • Must wear dark grey scrubs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, effective diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment
  • Accurately record/report findings using Epic and PACS
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float to other imaging units as required
  • Adhere to all facility policies, including full compliance with onboarding and orientation timelines

A pre-assignment clinical screening will determine clinical fit before final hiring decisions. Full compliance is necessary prior to assignment start, with orientation dates based on bi-weekly facility schedules.
