Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to deliver exceptional care for adolescent through geriatric patients in a fast-paced imaging department. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with advanced imaging equipment and state-of-the-art software systems in a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (06:00–17:30)
- Every other weekend required
- On-call: one week (7 days) per month (M–F end of shift–23:00; weekends 07:00–23:00)
- Floating within facility/scope as needed
- Holiday coverage as assigned (expect to work major holidays per assignment period guidelines)
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' nuclear medicine experience (no first timers accepted)
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT-R and NMTCB credentials
- Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Proficiency with Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, Epic, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo
- Skilled in use of AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR & CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C survey meter, and Bicron 2000 survey meter
- Adherence to facility scrub color: dark grey
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nuclear medicine imaging services to a diverse patient group
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain advanced imaging equipment and dose calibrators
- Thoroughly document procedures and maintain accurate records within Epic and PACS systems
- Effectively collaborate with care teams and float to other areas as needed
- Respond to on-call assignments and adjust to changing departmental needs
