Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) | Lawrenceville, Georgia

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced nuclear medicine professional skilled in advanced imaging technologies. This role supports adolescent to geriatric patient populations in a state-of-the-art hospital setting. Candidates must have proven expertise using multiple nuclear medicine imaging systems and be comfortable with both patient care and technical responsibilities.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift: Four 10-hour shifts (06:00 – 17:30) per week
• Every other weekend required
• Participation in call rotation: one week per month (M-F after shift until 2300, weekends 0700-2300)
• Holiday coverage required in line with assignment duration

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine; first-time travelers and new graduates not accepted
• Current BLS certification and ARRT-R and/or NMTCB credentials are required
• Proficient with Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, PACS, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo
• Familiarity with AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR/CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C, Bicron 2000 survey meters
• Comfortable using Epic electronic health record system
• Flexible to float within scope of practice as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures and therapies for diverse patient populations
• Ensure precise calibration, operation, and maintenance of imaging and dose measuring equipment
• Process and interpret imaging data accurately for timely physician review
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
• Maintain strict compliance with safety, regulatory, and procedural standards
• Assist with departmental floating as required

• Compliance with credentialing and orientation is required to begin as scheduled
• Dark grey scrubs are standard
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off permitted
