This travel role is ideal for nuclear medicine technologists seeking to sharpen their skills through hands-on exposure to both traditional Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures. You'll collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals, observe varied workplace practices, and gain valuable insight into different leadership styles, all while rounding out your experience with some of the top imaging procedures in the field.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 13-week assignment
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Key Qualifications:

  • ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of nuclear medicine experience
  • Proficient in general Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures
  • Flexibility to support both direct patient care and activities such as patient reminder calls
  • Ability to perform 10+ nuclear medicine studies and 12–14 PET/CT scans daily
  • Familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging equipment

Top Procedures Include:

  • Whole body bone scans, lung scans
  • Gastric emptying, renal scans, Hida scans
  • Thyroid uptake and thyroid whole body scans
  • Datscan brain, Lympho, Parathyroid scans
  • FDG PET and Specialty PET

Responsibilities:

  • Float between Nuclear Medicine and PET as needed
  • Provide exemplary care directly to patients, ensuring accuracy and safety in all imaging studies
  • Execute a diverse range of nuclear medicine and PET/CT exams
  • Assist with patient preparation, scheduling, and follow-up communications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality diagnostic results
