Join a dynamic nuclear medicine team specializing in advanced PET/CT imaging at a busy healthcare setting in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This 13-week contract opportunity offers daytime hours with no on-call or weekend duties, allowing for a focused professional experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of PET/CT scans including Skull Base to Mid-thigh with/without contrast, Whole Body imaging, PSMA, NET, Cerianna, Brain, Amyvid, Sarcoidosis, and Myocardial Perfusion studies.
- Handle IV and oral contrast administration accurately and safely.
- Operate MEDRAD FDG Injectors with proficiency.
- Ensure proper hot lab management and radioactive material handling.
- Maintain maximum daily scan volume, with up to 23 patients per day on one scanner.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and imaging quality.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Nuclear Medicine Certifications: CERT-NMTCB or CNMT required.
- Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist credentials (CNMT or AARTNM) mandatory.
- Extensive experience in busy PET/CT departments.
- Skilled in IV starts and hot lab procedures.
- Proficient in IV and oral contrast administration.
- Familiarity with the equipment listed and nuclear medicine imaging protocols.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, 5 days per week
- 40 hours per week
- No on-call or holiday shifts
- Weekends expected off
