Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Levittown, PA

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday coverage
• Shift options: 6:30 am–3:00 pm, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, and 8:30 am–5:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Current certification by the ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB, with active state licensure as required
• Prior experience in hospital or clinical nuclear medicine imaging settings preferred
• Proficiency with a range of nuclear medicine equipment and digital imaging systems
• Understanding of radiation safety standards and relevant healthcare regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare providers
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
• Ensure accurate acquisition and processing of imaging studies
• Assess image quality and relay critical findings to the medical team promptly
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Adhere to all infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times
• Support other imaging staff and participate in ongoing quality assurance activities
