A dynamic healthcare environment is seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Nuclear Medicine and experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging equipment and collaborate with a team of dedicated medical professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare radioactive materials and administer them to patients for imaging examinations
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment including gamma cameras, PET scanners, and computers used for image processing
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Monitor radiation safety protocols and perform regular equipment quality assurance tests
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other medical staff for optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and family members regarding procedure processes and safety precautions

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Active certification from NMTCB and/or ARRT (N)
  • State licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology (if required)
  • Demonstrated experience operating nuclear imaging equipment
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety principles in a medical imaging setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in documentation and record-keeping

$2,087 - $2,208/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
