Step into a pivotal imaging role within a high-volume PET/CT department, delivering advanced nuclear medicine care using state-of-the-art technology. This contract opportunity offers a fast-paced environment where you’ll maximize your clinical expertise across a diverse range of PET/CT studies, supporting patient diagnostics and treatment planning.

Schedule:

  • Day shift, 5 days per week
  • 40 hours per week
  • No on-call or holiday coverage
  • Weekends required as scheduled

Required Qualifications:

  • Current certification: NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N)
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in a busy PET/CT department (up to 23 scans daily on one scanner)
  • Strong IV start proficiency
  • Experience with Hot Lab procedures and both IV and oral contrast administration
  • Skilled in using MEDRAD FDG injectors
  • Ability to independently perform PET/CT procedures including skull base to midthigh (with/without contrast), whole-body scans, limited infection studies, PSMA, NET, Cerianna, Amyvid, sarcoidosis, and myocardial perfusion imaging

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrasts safely
  • Operate PET/CT equipment and perform all required scan protocols
  • Assure patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic procedures
  • Document and communicate imaging results within regulatory and facility timeframes
  • Maintain Hot Lab operations in accordance with safety and compliance standards
  • Collaborate seamlessly with technologists, radiologists, and clinical teams to ensure optimal workflow
