Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in imaging protocols, equipment operation, and safety standards related to nuclear medicine.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting performing nuclear medicine procedures preferred.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow complex procedural guidelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures.
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic scans.
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
  • Accurately document and report examination results to physicians.
  • Manage equipment calibration and quality control processes.
  • Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety regulations and best practices.
  • Provide clear explanations and reassurance to patients prior to and during imaging studies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to coordinate patient care.
