An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist proficient in imaging procedures. This contract position offers a dynamic work schedule across leading healthcare facilities and the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams focused on patient care.

Schedule:

  • Mondays: 10-hour shifts at Tracy location
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 10-hour shifts at Merced location

Your Experience and Credentials:

  • Demonstrated expertise in nuclear medicine imaging processes
  • Valid ARRT or NMTCB certification required
  • Current state licensure for nuclear medicine technology
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment
  • Skillful with advanced imaging systems and radiation safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach to patient interactions
  • Ability to adapt to multiple healthcare settings and varying patient care needs
  • CPR certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a diverse range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures following established protocols
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in line with safety and quality regulations
  • Assess image quality and maintain precise documentation for each patient procedure
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for safe, reliable operation
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures and address any questions or concerns with empathy
  • Uphold strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety standards at all times
