An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist proficient in imaging procedures. This contract position offers a dynamic work schedule across leading healthcare facilities and the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams focused on patient care.
Schedule:
- Mondays: 10-hour shifts at Tracy location
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 10-hour shifts at Merced location
Your Experience and Credentials:
- Demonstrated expertise in nuclear medicine imaging processes
- Valid ARRT or NMTCB certification required
- Current state licensure for nuclear medicine technology
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment
- Skillful with advanced imaging systems and radiation safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach to patient interactions
- Ability to adapt to multiple healthcare settings and varying patient care needs
- CPR certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a diverse range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures following established protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in line with safety and quality regulations
- Assess image quality and maintain precise documentation for each patient procedure
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for safe, reliable operation
- Provide patient education regarding procedures and address any questions or concerns with empathy
- Uphold strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety standards at all times
