This 13-week travel assignment provides an exceptional opportunity to broaden your clinical expertise by working alongside diverse teams, utilizing industry-leading GE and Siemens equipment, and gaining exposure to both general nuclear medicine and advanced PET imaging. You will expand your portfolio and develop new perspectives by floating between modalities, adapting to varied workplace practices, and collaborating with accomplished healthcare professionals.
Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform 10+ nuclear medicine and 12–14 PET/CT scans per day.
- Float between general nuclear medicine and PET to support both direct and indirect patient care, including patient reminder calls.
- Execute a range of procedures such as WB bone scans, lung scans, gastric emptying, renal scans, HIDA, thyroid uptake and scans, Datscan brain scans, lymphoscans, parathyroid scans, FDG PET, and specialty PET.
- Ensure the highest standard of safety and quality in all imaging procedures.
- Utilize and maintain GE/Siemens imaging systems efficiently.
Qualifications:
- ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of nuclear medicine technology experience.
- Proficiency in both general nuclear medicine and PET imaging.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Adaptable to rapidly changing environments and workflow.
