Advance your diagnostic imaging career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, supporting a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to patient care. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering cutting-edge nuclear medicine services to assist clinicians with essential diagnostic insight.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Every other weekend rotation

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Valid certification or registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT, ARRT(N), or equivalent)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Demonstrable experience with nuclear imaging equipment and associated protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and safety standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient engagement and teamwork

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring exact imaging and optimal patient positioning
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following stringent procedural protocols and safety guidelines
  • Monitor patients throughout testing and respond promptly to any emergencies or adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate test results
  • Maintain accurate and secure documentation, contributing to medical recordkeeping and regulatory compliance
  • Uphold radiation safety standards at every stage, ensuring safety for patients and staff
  • Assist with quality control checks and the calibration of nuclear medicine equipment as needed
