A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed to provide essential imaging services in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid ARRT or NMTCB certification required
  • Active or in-progress IL state radiology license
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in nuclear medicine technology
  • Prior experience working in a Level 1 Trauma center highly desired
  • Proficiency with advanced imaging equipment and nuclear medicine protocols
  • Strong communication and patient care skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality results
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and patient records
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to radiation safety standards
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, providing clear instructions and support
  • Contribute to the smooth operations of the imaging department, including scheduling and preparation of radiopharmaceuticals
