Key Qualifications:

• Certification: ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB required
• State License: IL state radiology license (pending applications accepted if in progress)
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a nuclear medicine tech or imaging role
• Trauma Skills: Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting
• BLS certification (current and valid)
• Strong technical proficiency with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging
• Operate nuclear imaging equipment safely and efficiently, producing high-quality images for interpretation
• Ensure all imaging activities comply with regulatory and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with healthcare guidelines
• Facilitate a patient-centered approach to care, providing clear explanations and compassionate support throughout imaging procedures
