Nuclear Medicine Technologist in New Britain, CT

Advance your imaging expertise as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, delivering exceptional care and diagnostic support. You’ll utilize advanced nuclear medicine procedures to aid in critical patient assessments and work within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Days shifts: 6:00am–2:30pm or 7:00am–3:30pm
• Call rotation includes:
  • 1 weekday call (3:30pm–7:00pm)
  • 1 weekend call every 4 weeks (7:00am–7:00pm)

Qualifications:

• Certification by NMTCB or ARRT(N) required
• Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging and radiation safety
• Proficient with gamma camera operation and related technologies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accurate imaging

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and conduct nuclear medicine procedures as ordered
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout each process
• Analyze imaging results to provide timely, accurate data to physicians
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to support patient care plans
• Participate in departmental quality assurance and calibration protocols
