Embark on an exciting opportunity as a Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist specializing in advanced imaging modalities, including Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, and Nuclear Med Tech. This 13-week contract offers two dynamic work environments: a mobile route covering multiple service locations and a parked option at a single campus. The anticipated start date is April 1, 2026, with two immediate needs to be filled.
Scheduling Options:
- Mobile Route: 4 days/week, 10 hours/day, rotating among regional medical centers
- Parked: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day at a single healthcare facility
Required Qualifications:
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, AND either ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
- Valid state licenses for both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology in New Jersey
- Demonstrated expertise in nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures
- Strong attention to detail in imaging protocols and patient care
- Ability to adapt to various hospital environments and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate PET, CT, and nuclear medicine equipment with accuracy and professionalism
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging studies per physician orders
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout preparation, scanning, and post-procedure care
- Adhere to quality control protocols, radiation safety standards, and facility-specific guidelines
- Maintain organized documentation, including accurate image records and patient charts
