An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional experienced in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging. This contract position is ideal for someone eager to start as soon as possible and is comfortable working across multiple locations on a mobile route.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Imaging—specifically Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, and Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Certification required: NMTCB or ARRT(N), and at least one of the following: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
- Valid New Jersey state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
- Experience with PET/CT protocols, scanning equipment, and patient preparation
- Ability to work independently while traveling between assigned locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols
- Accurately calibrate and operate advanced imaging technology
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and follow safety protocols for radiation use
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Maintain detailed patient records and document examination findings accurately
- Adhere to compliance, safety, and documentation standards as required by state and local regulations
- Travel to designated sites, including Newark, Jersey City, Rahway, and Elizabeth, to provide consistent coverage
