Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N) required
- Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Proficiency with imaging technology, radiopharmaceuticals, and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital nuclear medicine imaging setting preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as ordered by physicians
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently to acquire quality diagnostic images
- Assess and monitor patients’ conditions before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain updated patient records
- Ensure equipment is well-maintained and safety policies are strictly followed
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
