Nuclear Medicine Technologist - North Charleston, SC

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N) required
• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Proficiency with imaging technology, radiopharmaceuticals, and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital nuclear medicine imaging setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as ordered by physicians
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently to acquire quality diagnostic images
• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions before, during, and after imaging procedures
• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain updated patient records
• Ensure equipment is well-maintained and safety policies are strictly followed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
