A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in imaging and nuclear medicine procedures. This contract-based role requires a reliable clinician who can begin as soon as possible and commit to a 6-week assignment, with the potential for an extended engagement.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- No call required
Key Qualifications:
- Valid credentials as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Strong skills in general nuclear medicine imaging
- Experience with a variety of nuclear medicine exams and protocols
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a clinical team
- While CT experience is preferred, it is not required
- PET imaging is not performed at this location
- Commitment to excellent patient care and safety practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment and ensure accurate image acquisition
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols throughout each procedure
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing questions and ensuring comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain precise records following regulatory and institutional standards
